Here a few of my daily duties: taking/pouring impressions, and various lab work. Placing braces, doing adjustments, and bandings. Taking x-rays, documenting initial/final photos and models. Plus some general housekeeping. The girls know I am a clean freak with any spare time :>
(Below) Melissa, Stacey and Melissa
#1. The staff!!! Teresa, Tonya, Jen, Melissa, Kelsi and Melissa. I love working with, talking to, and getting to know each one of them more day by day.
#2. Dr. Moses. He is so professional and patient with me as I continually learn.
#3. The flexibility of my summer schedule. In at 9:15, out at 4:00 Mon. and Wed.
#4. The office is less than 3 miles from home. Close enough to go eat lunch with the kids.
#5. The break it gives me coming TO work. It gets me out AND I love it!
#6. Already knowing more than half the patients (either from church or the gym!)
#7. Enabling Griffin to earn money babysitting for me on the days Todd works.
#8. My excellent "clinical instructors"...Tonya, Melissa and Dr. Moses.
#9. Let's face it teeth that are fuzzy, crooked, and bumpy....not near as beautiful as straight, white and shiny.
#10. With Todd just out of braces and 4 kids moving up the ranks this is a great field to work in!

Still LOL over that picture of your teeth. Classic! I hope you shout in the patient's ears: WEAR YOUR #%&* RETAINERS!!!!!!!!!
what are fuzzy teeth? I agree- everyone should get braces that has the slightest problem. I'm a huge fan of straight, white teeth. You and Kylee's Brody are the only two people I know w/ perfectly straight non-braced teeth! LUCKY!
I enjoyed that informative post!
My Ryan never had braces either. Here's hoping Spencer and Milly don't need them. There is a receptionist at our Dr.'s office who is cross eyed, and I'm never sure which eye to look at. Awkward.
What's with all these people never having braces!? I thought it was just my extremely lucky husband. I just thought everyone had to have braces.. And yeah, I'm curious to know what fuzzy teeth are? I'm still contemplating finding a job at a dentist office mostly to help pay for my own family's future dentist needs. It sounds like it would be a good idea!
Oh I loved this post. It's so nice to have a picture to go with your stories. What's with your freaky straight white teeth? Not fair!
Speaking of white teeth.. remember how you gave me whiting stuff from your work when i was 14? That was before the crest white strip days, I had the best teeth in school.. thanks stacey :O)
I forgot about that Ashley....anything to promote pearly whites! Fuzzy teeth? Just look into any childs mouth at the end (or beginning) of the day. That stuff you can scrape off with your fingernail...that would be the FUZZ...PLAQUE!
